Paul & Laura’s wedding was special to me as I’d met them in Koh Samui several years ago, and I was thrilled to be asked to come to Phuket to DJ at their wedding. The Katathani is one of Phuket’s most luxurious hotels set on Kata beach. The wedding ceremony was held on their events lawn over looking the beach and sea. The clouds were breaking and sunshine poured onto the ocean in the distance which gave this special day in Phuket an even more gorgeous and dramatic view. Friends from Australia and the UK gathered to see the happy couple marry. I got to play some nice chilled vibes during cocktails after the ceremony and some cool Motown and soul during dinner. The place really came to life after the first dance with requests galore for favorite songs and everyone danced until the early hours.
